Frequently asked questions
How long does video cassette digitization take?
Average processing time is 10–14 working days after the materials arrive and the order is confirmed. Timing depends on quantity, condition, selected add-ons and parcel transit time.
How do I send my tapes from Finland?
You can ship your parcel with Posti (SmartPosti), Matkahuolto or DPD. Send us a request first and we will give you exact shipping instructions and the delivery address. Pack tapes and film carefully and include your contact details.
What if a cassette is damaged?
We repair and restore damaged cassettes, for example a broken tape or a cracked shell, before digitization. Cassette repair costs 9 € per cassette. Moldy or dirty cassettes are cleaned separately (9 € per cassette).
In what format will I receive the files?
The most common delivery methods are a USB drive or a Google Drive link. If needed, we agree on the file format before digitization starts.
How can I pay?
Payment is made by invoice. The invoice can be issued to a private person or a company.
